The younger girls at our stables were secretly entered into a horse demo competition. It was a great surprise for them to find out they had won a day out at Myerscough College to see a Monty Roberts demonstration. They work really hard each day mucking out, cleaning tack and feeding the horses.
On arriving at Myerscough they were warmly greeted by Paddy Gracey who was delighted to meet them. He gave them a tour of the venue before taking them to meet Kelly Marks and the horse whisperer Monty Roberts. The girls had a wonderful front seat view to watch the whole demo and see how trainers work with horses. They had a brilliant day that they will remember for a very long time.
