A lovey day was had by all the riders and horses. Arriving at delemere they met up with other riders who had ventured out to enjoy the winter ride. Lots of riders took the time to dress up their horses and ponies.
Riding out with horses and ponies
It was the first time for some of the ponies visiting Delamere, a new strange world of excitement for them to ponder. It does seem that they all took the outing in their stride and were up for a lovely ride out. Once tacked up and all girths checked they set off on a winter adventure. Along the way they met so many people wishing them Merry Xmas and asking about the horses. Meeting a man and his dog, all the riders stood and waited till he had past keeping both horses ponies and dog all chilled and safe.
The ride continued along the paths into the forest. Gradually they all decided to turn and head back and enjoy some well earned sandwiches and of course lots of xmas cakes and mince pies. The horses had a lovely feed lots of carrots as treats and cool fresh water. A wonderful day for everyone.
